What the app does

Photo Location Finder, also branded as GeoSee in the app interface, reads selected images to look for GPS and EXIF metadata. It uses the available coordinates to show a location and map context.

Photos and location data

The app needs access to photos you choose so it can analyze them. It may request camera access when you choose to take a photo, and photo-library add access when you save a result. Photos and their embedded metadata can contain sensitive information, including an exact place and capture time. Do not select images you do not want the app to process.

Data sharing

The app is designed around on-device photo metadata extraction and iOS geocoding services. We do not sell your photos or use them for advertising. Apple handles App Store purchases and subscription billing. The app may use standard device services needed to resolve coordinates into place information.

Website analytics

This website records limited first-party analytics in Cloudflare D1: the requested page, time, country and region provided by Cloudflare, device and browser category, and the request IP address used for daily unique counts. App Store handoffs and internal guide clicks may also be recorded. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising cookies, browser fingerprinting, or cross-site tracking. Analytics events are retained for no longer than 30 days.

Subscriptions

Purchases are processed by Apple. Subscription management and cancellation are available through your Apple Account settings. The app does not receive your payment card details.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The effective date above will be updated with any revision.
